Staying sane

With my family, work, school, freelance and triathlon training schedule all competing for my time, people have often asked me how I stay sane through this.

Easy.

I practice meditation.

I’d like to say this solo practice provides quality “me” time, in a day that is otherwise dedicated to the needs of others. But I can’t.

My other Significant Other always accompanies me when I start my practice first thing in the morning. It’s something that we just do together. Another one of our many partnerships.
