Reactiv Cycling Jacket

This is perhaps the coolest cycling-related gear I have seen in a lonnnnnng time. Tired of UK cycling commuters getting smoked by cars, student Michael Chen created this prototype cycling jacket. With any luck, it will be available for purchase by the end of the year.

Man, do I want one!

Find your edge and dance upon it,

p.s. A jacket like this may have prevented Libor’s 80 km/hr (50 mph) run-in with a car.

  2. now now, I don’t think that would be useful to you at the Quad.

Training for the quad, that’s another story.

  3. Actually, methinks it would be quite useful. It would make it easier for the volunteers to recover my body after I smack into a tree on the ski down. I still get a knot in my gut and a wet spot in my undies thinking about that gnarly run.
